CLINICS and TRAINING DAYS
"Some runners judge performance by whether they won or lost. Others define success or failure by how fast they ran, whether or not they matched their time expectations. Still others judge performance by how good they felt running, focusing on the experience.
Only you can judge your performance. "- Hal Higdon.
I included the quote above as I feel many people are self conscious, shy, and lacking confidence, especially around horses. They are worried about what people think. Some people show this by being too soft on their horses, others are too tough and try to deal with a problem before it happens, particularly in public places or when under pressure. Neither way will bring about the best results, and to get the most from our horses we really have to be in the moment, calm, confident and in control. This starts with having a clear goal, a clear purpose. What is important to you?
I will be opening up the hosting of a number of small clinics, focusing on one on one instruction and help on all things equine. Limiting groups to 8 people, this will ensure you get the attention and time you and your horse requires to move forward in harmony. Non horse owners are also welcome to attend, either as spectators or a suitable horse can be provided for you to either ride or focus on ground control. Please send an email or give me a call to register your interest. I also am taking expressions of interest for off farm clinics if you wish to organize a clinic.
