Frequently Asked Questions
Will you look after my horse? - Your horses health and well-being are paramount to us. They are all housed individually, either in 1 acre paddocks, yards, or stabling can be arranged if required for an extra daily cleaning fee. Stabled horses are turned out daily. Rugs are taken off and on as required. All our fences are horse friendly, and horses are fed twice per day, hard feed and hay. If your horse has special dietary needs, we are more than willing to accommodate these requirements. Horses will be wormed as required. All horses will be checked by our dentist, Heather Bain, and treated if she deems necessary. Click this link to find out more about Equine Dentition.
We also use Equine Dynamics for any stiffness or unexplained 'off' behaviour during training. We have found it to be very useful in older horses who have suffered falls and accidents, horses coming back into work, as well as routine work on going horses. Can I come and visit or watch you work my horse? - YES. You are welcome to watch us at work anytime, with your own horse or one of ours. We encourage you to come and watch our methods, and have lessons with us, so you can better understand your horse and your relationship with him.
Will my horse be 'fixed' forever? - No. However, if you stick to the homework and guidelines set out, if you are committed to change, and committed to your horses future, there is every chance you will have full success with your horse in the future. We encourage clients to come back and have lessons at any time. We can supply the tools you need to succeed, the missing link between where you are now, and where you want to be.
